ABOUT INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL (IQAC)

The main objective and functioning of the Institutions National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of A.R. Engineering College was established in 2022 with a view to planning, monitoring and evaluating the quality measures in teaching-learning process, research and extension activities. The quality up gradation measures are initiated in order to promote the assessment and accreditation process. It also ensures quality-based value education to the students. The IQAC, since its inception, has been constantly and continuously involved in quality enhancement activities of the AREC.

In order to plan, monitor, and evaluate the quality measures in the teaching-learning process, research, and extension activities, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of A.R. Engineering College (AREC) was established in 2022. It is based on the guidelines of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The assessment and accreditation process is promoted by the quality improvement initiatives. Furthermore, it makes sure that students receive excellent, value-based education. Since the beginning of its existence, the IQAC has been actively participating in AREC quality improvement initiatives.

  • To establish an infrastructure for deliberate, persistent, and effective action to enhance the institution's performance in both academics and management.
  • To encourage actions that will help institutions run better by internalizing a quality culture and institutionalizing best practices.

IQAC ACTIVITIES

Some of the activities of the IQAC are as follows:

The establishment and implementation of quality benchmarks/parameters for the institution's various academic and administrative activities that support the development of a learner-centric environment that is supportive of high-quality instruction and faculty development to adopt the necessary knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning Organize for student, parent, and other stakeholders' feedback on institutional procedures that affect quality.

Dissemination of data on numerous higher education quality metrics Inter- and intra-institutional workshops, lectures on quality-related topics, and the promotion of quality circles are organized and documented.
